If you don’t mind waiting lists and high prices, you could be the proud owner of a 2016 Ford Focus RS someday. Sources are claiming that the Focus RS will finally be available in U.S. showrooms with limited availability for the 2016 model year.
The Focus RS will boast an all wheel drive system to keep up with the VW Golf R and quite possibly the Benz A45 AMG. This new system will have torque vectoring front and rear and should extend to other vehicles in the Ford family at some point. Packing a 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine that will also be in the 2015 Mustang, the Focus RS should deliver between 325 and 350 horsepower. Now that’s a Focus we’d like to drive!
Interested in this hot hatch? You should probably start saving your money and get in line now. We should get to see the first official look of this beast soon, so keep your eyes and ears peeled. We sure hope we are lucky enough to nab one of these in our showroom at Gurley Motor Company!
