After months of anticipation, Ford finally released the power details for the upcoming 2016 Ford Focus RS, the latest version of one of Ford’s most beloved and celebrated models throughout the years.
And though estimates about how powerful the new Focus RS would be were high, few guessed just how strong this new vehicle would be. According to Ford, the 2016 Focus RS will be able to produce up to 350 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful vehicles in its class.
The Focus RS can also accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds, and it can hit speeds of up to 165 mph. Much of this is due in part, of course, to the powerful, top-notch 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that fuels the new Focus RS.
