2015 Ford Fiesta Among KBB.com’s 10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000

It’s a common misconception that it takes a lot of money to drive cool cars. Just because something is interesting, well-made, and innovative doesn’t mean it can’t be affordable—the 2015 Ford Fiesta is a perfect example of this. It was named among Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com’s “10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000,” a list that we think is fairly self-explanatory. Compared to its competition, the latest Fiesta packs an incredible amount of style, personality, features, and technologies that, frankly, Gurley Motor Company usually doesn’t expect when it comes to the small-car segment. But it does this and more. “Bold style and European-rooted driving dynamics give Ford’s subcompact car multifaceted appeal,” as

Ford Employee and Son Break Hot Wheels Loop World Record

After a recent stunt at his workplace, Matt West is definitely in the bidding for world’s coolest dad. West, a Ford employee, and his son, Blade, recently broke the world record for largest Hot Wheels ramp. The Detroit Free Press reports that the story began when West was tooling around with his Hot Wheels tracks he had as a kid. He found that he could link them up with his son’s tracks. The loop he was building “kept getting bigger.” At some point in his backyard, West had a 5-foot loop. After doing some research, West wanted to created a 12.5 foot loop to break the then-record, which was 9.9

The 2015 F-150 SuperCab Lariat model with EcoBoost was chosen as the greenest pickup on the market. It provides 26 highway miles to the gallon with help from the standard Auto Start-Stop system and 19 in the city for a total of 22 mpg combined. The actual guide is 160 pages long, so we’ll spare you some time

Ford Takes Home KBB Brand Image Award for Truck Segment

Recently named the Best Overall Truck Brand in the world, Ford is on a roll. In a recent study by Kelley Blue Book (KBB), results concluded that Ford is seen by consumers around the world as the top pickup brand available. With record-breaking models like the F-150, it comes as no surprise. The KBB Brand Image Award is given for three categories, luxury, non-luxury, and truck. According to Ford, this is the sixth year Ford has won the award, proving just how incredible the new F-150 really is. Besides the new lightweight model, new customers were also impressed by the Super Duty F-250 and the F-350, both of which helped

Mustang Earns 6th Consecutive Vincentric Best Value in America Award

The 2015 Ford Mustang has earned the Vincentric Best Value in America award in the Sports Car category… again. This is no less than the sixth consecutive year that the firm honors the popular pony car! Every year, Vincentric puts together its list based on statistical analysis of several key costs of ownership, including insurance, maintenance, depreciation, repairs, fees and taxes, financing, opportunity cost, and fuel. This time around, the company pointed out the “lowest total cost of ownership, lowest maintenance costs, and lowest fuel costs in its class” as the defining factors behind the Mustang’s dominance. In other words, the Ford muscle car is more likely to give you

New F-150 Earns Truck of the Year Distinction from Detroit Free Press

If you’re involved in the new car industry, January is always an exciting month, culminating in the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). The show itself presents two major awards—the North American Car and Truck of the Year awards. This year, going into the show, the new Ford F-150 already has some great momentum towards winning that award. The F-150 just won a Best Truck of the Year award from the Detroit Free Press, which is especially telling since NAIAS also takes place in Detroit. The F-150 has been the best-selling, most popular full-size truck in America for almost four decades, and this new truck will likely keep it ahead

2015 F-150 Earns Truck of Texas Title

Ok, we aren’t surprised either. USA Today reports that the 2015 Ford F-150 was recently awarded the “Truck of Texas” title by the Texas Auto Writers Association. Let’s be honest, Texans know their trucks, and Texas sells more pickups than any other state in this country. As such, Ford is honored to be the truck of choice for the Lone Star State. The 2015 F-150 is changing everything we know about pickups – offering unprecedented fuel efficiency thanks to its new light-weight aluminum construction. The new model also comes with power and capability, modern technology, and luxurious interior appointments. “This is a significant honor,” says Doug Scott, marketing manager of
