Ford Infotainment System Updates to Happen Automatically with Microsoft Cloud

Ford has announced an expansion in its partnership with Microsoft that will allow automatic infotainment system updates. Using Microsoft’s Azure cloud service, Ford infotainment system updates will automatically happen when the car connects to a Wi-Fi network, eliminating the need for manual updates, either by the dealership or vehicle owner. We all know that law enforcement is out there always keeping its eyes on the rest of us, but who polices the police? Ford has teamed up with a tech company to create a new system called Ford Telematics for Law Enforcement specifically for its line of police interceptor patrol cars. This system will allow police chiefs and other supervisors to keep an eye on their officers. Information that will be streamed to those higher in command will be things such as speed, cornering acceleration, location, and more detailed occurrences such as when the emergency lights are on and if the officer is wearing a seatbelt. This information can be
